WATERY WEDNESDAY
WATER
Wherever there is water, life can become active.
Where there is no water this possibility ceases.
Water is essentially the element of life.
Water requires nothiing for itself, it gives of itself freely, never questioning the form into which it must change when needed by a plant, an animal, or by man.
As in its very nature it is itself pure.
Water can purify, refresh, heal, strengthen, revive and clarify all things.
For much of the world even the amount of water held in our toilet tanks is unavailable.
Conserve our water, protect it, clean it up, and mainly be thankful for each drop you use.
Out on one of my nature hikes I spotted this fisherman in the middle of the Rogue River.
The Rogue River is a dangerous river, many people have drowned in it. I was a little curious how he got out there but had to leave before he came ashore. I actually titled the one where he is looking at his hand "No fish today, I guess I should go get a manicure".

RUBY TUESDAY-MY FIRST
This is my first Ruby Tuesday entry. I went out today to find something red to take a picture of and really had a hard time finding something besides floweres to snap. So I resorted to my vacation photos. These were taken in Watuco. I hope there is enough red in them to qualify for ruby tuesday. Next week I hope to find something interesting around here. Thanks for having this meme as I really enjoy seeing everyones photos.
MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY
Some photos taken this week from around the valley. The first one was taken in an old graveyard in Gold Hill and the second was taken in Ashland. It is on the front of one of the University buildings. There was a whole bed of daffodils in front of it so I just couldn't resist adding a little extra Mellow Yellow something. Be sure to check out all the other yellow photos at Mellow Yellow Monday and have a wonderful day.

Well, it's that time of the week again. These pictures are of a sunset somewhere off the coast of Mexico. They are more sky photos from my vacation. I think I spent more time taking sky pictures than I did taking pictures of my trip!!! Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful Skywatch Friday. Please be sure to go to Skywatch Friday for some more great photos from all over.

MY WORLD TUESDAY
This is part of my world in Ashland, Oregon. Beautiful Southern Oregon University. The next two pictures are of a mosaic in the rotunda of the beautiful library on Campus. This mosaic was made elsewhere then carefully shipped here and painstakingly put together by the artist. It took him quite a while as this is one large piece of art work. It's hard to walk on it, it is so beautiful. Happy tuesday everyone.

MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY
These are some mellow yellow photos taken last week on my vacation. These were taken in Cartagina, Columbia. It was a very colorful place. The shoes were tennis shoes and thongs that they decorated somehow, I thought they were very cute. The woman with the fruit dresses up this way so the tourists will take her picture and give her money. It is how she make her living. Have a happy Monday everyone. Be sure to visit Mellow yellow Monday for a lot more YELLOW.

SKYWATCH FRIDAY
Well I am back from my vacation and had a great time. These are pictures of the sunset somewhere off the coast of Mexico. I took so many pictures I can't even remember what part of the trip these were taken! We went from San Diego through the Panama Canal and ended up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Quite an adventure but glad to be off the cruise shop after 2 weeks, and back home. There's no place like home!! Happy Skywatch Friday.
