The first photo is of Gold Rey Dam on the Rogue River. A controversial dam as people think it should be taken out so the salmon can make it up stream easier to their spawning grounds. It is not being used for anything now and it is old.
The second picture is me getting ready to leave on a trip for 2 weeks. So to any followers, who happen to drop by I will be back on line later. Hope to come back with some great photos. Heading on a ship from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. Bon Voyage!

Great shot of the dam, they are very dangerous too, we have some where I live and 2 boys died a couple of years ago while boating.
